USB: The Compaq iPAQ H3800 series ships with a USB (UHCI) cradle. This cradle connects to a computer via a Universal Serial Bus (USB) connection. A USB cable is also provided to directly connect the device to a USB port on a PC.

Infrared: The module supports slow Infrared (SIR), also defined as IrDA 1.0 with a maximum transmission rate of 1.15 Mbps.

Serial: A serial cable is available. This cable connects to the USB port on the Compaq iPAQ H3800 series and wires to a serial COM port on the PC.
